The census also includes records for the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, Royal Navy ships at sea, and overseas military establishments.Please note: records for naval and military establishments based in the UK are included in the counties in which they are found. British ships docked in port will also be found in the relevant county. British Naval ships and military bases overseas are listed separately.
